Born to a Christian family in Upstate New York, I chose to follow Jesus at a young age. When I was six years old, we moved to a farm on the top of a hill. The property was home to a very nasty spirit and believe me when I say I could fill a book with all the horrible things we experienced there. It was, for all intents and purposes, a high place. This thing was extremely territorial and was not going anywhere. It was certainly not going to have us "Christians" living there and messing with it's plans for the town. Due to the insidious nature of that time, I was quickly thrust into the world of spiritual warfare. I was only six years old and shouting "By the precious blood of Jesus Christ, I command all evil to leave!" at spirits I could physically see moving around our house. It was a horrible time for my family and we were almost destroyed. Thankfully, God had other plans.

We left that farm after a tough two years of battling and soon after, we moved to Northern Virginia. I turned ten shortly after moving there and we quickly got plugged into a local church. I would go on to work as an employee and volunteer much of my time to their ministries. As time went on, I shifted from that church to another one that some friends my age were attending. The same pattern of service and employment followed. I graduated high school in 2014 and then married Emily in 2016. Throughout that time of adolescence, I continued to see spirits. It became very apparent The Holy Spirit had given me discernment and I was also apparently a seer, at least to some degree. If you are thinking this all sounds crazy, welcome to my life! I've been trusting God through all of this and He's been showing me the Truth of His Word.
 

I was taught, and firmly believed, that Christians cannot be possessed by spirits. While that is technically true, it is incredibly misleading. After examining the Gospels, it became clear to me that the whole system of understanding in regards to "possession", "obsession", and "oppression" is way off. The reality is this: spirits can enter Christians and influence them. I was delivered from evil spirits as a Christian. Yes I am a Christian and yes I had evil spirits inside of me and they influenced my life very negatively. The fruit of their absence is undeniable. God is good.

 

After a few years of expelling so many evil spirits I can't even keep track, I can confidently say that deliverance from evil spirits is for Christians and only for Christians. The enemy has done a very good job at keeping people in bondage and it's time to shine some light on what's really going on.
